Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

StreamlinedAmnesty.com ("the Site," "we," "us") is an intake platform operated by Lead Gen Agency, a United States marketing services company. We help connect US citizens and green-card holders abroad with qualified US tax preparation services. We are not a tax preparation firm and do not prepare returns ourselves.

2. Our partner firm

Inquiries submitted through this Site are fulfilled by Capital Tax Limited, a tax preparation firm incorporated in Hong Kong that specializes in US expat tax compliance. When you submit a form on this Site, your information is shared with Capital Tax Limited for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. This is disclosed to you at the point of form submission, in accordance with Hong Kong's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Ordinance (Cap. 593) and US consent requirements.

3. Information we collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide through forms on this Site. At minimum this includes:

• Your full name
• A valid email address
• A valid telephone number (including country code)
• Country of residence
• Nature of your US tax inquiry (as you describe it)

We may also collect technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, referral source, and pages viewed, for site-performance and security purposes. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this Site.

4. How we use your information

We use your information only for the purpose you provided it — to connect you with our partner firm for a US tax services inquiry. Specifically:

• To transmit your inquiry to Capital Tax Limited so they can contact you directly.
• To follow up with you if our partner firm does not respond within a reasonable window.
• To maintain internal records of inquiries for attribution purposes (who we referred to Capital Tax Limited, and on what date), as required by our marketing services agreement with them.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with any third party other than Capital Tax Limited. We do not use it for any purpose you did not submit it for.

5. TCPA consent for phone and SMS contact (US)

By checking the consent box on our forms, you expressly consent to receive phone calls and SMS messages from Capital Tax Limited at the phone number you provided, including via automated dialing systems or prerecorded messages, for the purpose of responding to your US tax services inquiry.

Your consent is not required as a condition of any purchase or service. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting us at the email address in Section 12 below.

6. CAN-SPAM and email communications (US)

Email communications from us or from Capital Tax Limited relating to your inquiry are transactional in nature and comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Each email includes a method to opt out of further non-transactional email, which we will honor within ten (10) business days of receipt.

7. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) gives you additional rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share about you.
• Right to delete the personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or "share" personal information as defined by the CPRA, so this right is satisfied by default.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. Hong Kong residents (PCPD / Cap. 486)

Because our partner firm is based in Hong Kong, Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) applies to the handling of your data on their side. For cross-border data transfers, we adopt the Recommended Model Contractual Clauses (RMCs) published by the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (May 2022) between Agency and Company as data users.

9. GDPR and UK GDPR residents

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR, including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

Our lawful basis for processing the personal information you submit through our forms is your consent, which you provide by affirmatively checking the required consent boxes. You may withdraw consent at any time using the contact details in Section 12; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

We separately process limited technical data (IP address, browser type, referral source) under legitimate interest for site security, fraud prevention, and operational integrity; this processing does not involve your form submissions.

10. Data retention

We retain inquiry records for as long as necessary to operate the attribution log required by our marketing services agreement with Capital Tax Limited — typically the first 12 months after your inquiry, plus a further 12-month tail after any termination of that agreement. After that period, records are deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion subject to the rights described above.

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information in transit (TLS encryption) and at rest. Form submissions are processed through Formspree, a third-party form-handling service that is contractually required to implement reasonable security measures. Despite our efforts, no transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes affecting your rights or how we use your information, we will provide more prominent notice — typically an email to the address on file for active inquiries.

14. Cookies

This Site does not currently use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. We may use minimal functional cookies for form state and security; these do not track you across sites.
